I rarely run (only when CF Mainsite WOD calls for it), but I decided to run in the Athens Twilight 5k (21:38) and 50k Gambler Bike Ride (around 2 hours). <br />For Mudder Training, I won't change much other than add some longer trail runs over the last 4-6 weeks leading up to the TM. I recommend a focus on the trails, occasionally adding in intermittent sprints. While running, pick up a log and run/walk with it. Lots of pull-ups, toes-to-bar or knees to elbows, and squats (air squats if you don't want to get under weight). If you can find a rope to climb, add that as well. I wouldn't focus on low crawls, but you will be on your belly in the mud/ice. Any swimming we encounter will be more of a suck-fest due to temperature of the water.
