I figure I should start posting again, as this race signals the unofficial start of my race season.
As always my goal was to top last years time, which I did by 1:21, but they had us only do 5 push-ups instead of 10 at each of the 2 stations. The rest of the course seemed about the same, except there were hay bails in the first mile again. I have been working on push-ups so this was probably a comparable course timewise, give or take 10-15 seconds.
Unofficially I ran 22:53 and placed 4th in my age group (my reg was messed up so I didn't get to run in the elite division) I wasn't really feeling it today so I guess I am happy with this. I need to work on the transition from running to obstacles and back into running if I am going to get much better at this stuff.

EMG - 9/3/13
I have been working out, just not posting. I am still really busy
Last Wed I did a 3 mile tempo somewhere around 6:40, 6:50, 7:16
Thurs- Tabata push-ups, crunches, squats
Fri- burned out on my long run (too damn hot) ran about 8 and walked 4
Mon- 4 x 400 (+10 GHD) 1:11(1:44), 1:12(1:47), 1:13(1:46), 1:14(1:52)
Tues- full TM workout
